A girl with a black star carved into her eye moves through a world that exists only to be destroyed. The animation doesn't just match the song, it becomes the song, every frame a percussion hit, every cut timed to the exact microsecond where the music breaks. Five minutes that build a mythology from nothing, so visually complete and narratively hungry that it demanded sequels, spin-offs, and an entire universe just to explain what you just watched.

Black★Rock Shooter is the original music video from which the wider Black Rock Shooter franchise grew. Its starting point was huke's first official artwork. Ryo of supercell wrote the music, huke drew the visuals, and Hatsune Miku, the lead Vocaloid character, performs the vocals. The result is a short, single-episode action music video.
