Team Konohamaru receives a mission to find a suspicious figure somewhere in the village. In a separate thread, Chocho is due to train with Shikadai and Inojin, but first she goes looking for potato chips, and every shop she tries appears to have sold out. The one-episode special mixes action and adventure with comedy. It premiered at Shueisha's invitation-only Jump Special Anime Festa 2016 event and was later bundled with the game Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy.
