Saizo stumbles into a war he didn't ask for, and the show respects that enough to move. Fights burn hot and fast, never overstaying their welcome, which lets you actually feel momentum instead of watching the same clash stretch across three episodes. The ten of you assembled under Sanada's banner have real chemistry that makes the predictable story bearable, these are people you want to watch swing swords, not characters waiting for the plot to happen to them.

Saizo Kirigakure, a masterless Iga ninja searching for direction in life, crosses paths with Isanami, an Izumo shrine maiden hunted by assassins after her temple was burned. He saves her, and she asks him to guard her until she reaches her destination. Their journey leads them to the Sanada territory, where Saizo meets Sasuke Sarutobi and learns that Yukimura Sanada is gathering ten exceptional warriors to bring Japan's era of war to an end. Meanwhile, a strange and devastating power hidden within Isanami begins to surface, drawing enemies who want it for themselves. Set in the Warring States period, about a year before the Battle of Sekigahara, this action adventure sends Saizo and Isanami across war-torn lands in search of skilled fighters to serve under Sanada's banner.
