The mystery pulls you in as a locked-room problem, then reveals it's actually about why someone would want to erase the very thing that makes you special. Every suicide in this fog is a person choosing non-existence over their own power, and the movie doesn't flinch from asking what kind of world makes that choice seem reasonable. By the end you're not solving a case, you're watching characters realize that saving someone's life means convincing them it's worth living in the first place.

Power users across the globe are dropping dead, each apparent suicide preceded by an inexplicable fog. The deaths are connected. When Ango Sakaguchi comes to them with a request, the Armed Detective Agency sets out to investigate Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, a power user who goes by the name Collector and who may be the one behind the catastrophe. To protect Yokohama and ability users everywhere, the agency must put trust and courage on the line, even joining forces with the dangerous Port Mafia. The film mixes action, comedy, mystery and the supernatural.
