This is early 90s anime unashamed of being exactly what it is: two cops in painted-on armor stealing a tank to rescue their partner from human traffickers, played completely straight except when it's not. The animation has that hand-drawn roughness that modern digital work can't touch, it looks alive because someone actually drew every frame. By the time the opening credits finish, you understand the whole operating system: absurd premise, practical solutions, character chemistry that costs nothing but lands everything, and an English dub that leans into the bit.

Maki, Reimi and Yuka are three traffic cops who go undercover at a dance club where young women have been vanishing, taken by a ring that sells them as slaves to rich buyers. The operation goes wrong and Yuka is kidnapped herself. The man behind it, McCoy, is wealthy and well connected, and the police chief insists nothing can be done. So Maki and Reimi risk their careers and their lives, help themselves to body armor, weapons and an armored vehicle, and set out on their own to rescue Yuka and bring down the slave ring. A single-episode OVA from 1991, it mixes action and comedy with science fiction and ecchi content.
