The Butlers are guardians with a thousand-year history and a fate to match. Jay once lived quietly with his younger sister Tenna and a fellow Butler, Hayakawa, until that calm ended abruptly: Tenna vanished into the void and Jay was thrown a century forward in time. Where his mansion used to be, he now finds Koyomi Academy. Using the name Koma Jinguji, he becomes its elegant, popular student council president while searching for traces of his past. Hayakawa, meanwhile, works at a café, where his owl latte art wins over female customers. The pair cross time to battle their archenemy, and this comedy with a supernatural edge pairs those fights with slapstick school life.
