By Your Side is a single-episode music video made for the Zapuni Project, which pairs Japanese visual artists with internationally known musicians to raise money for charities aiding children hit by the March 11 Tohoku earthquake and the Fukushima nuclear disaster. In a peaceful rural setting, a young girl plays the piano for her two companions, a small bear and a rabbit. When an earthquake shakes their room, she is suddenly gone. Afterward, the pair slowly piece their lives back together, holding on to the hope that their friend will return.
