Meng Chuan's rage still burns exactly where you left it, and this time the weight lands harder because everything he swore to protect is already crumbling. The animation doesn't flinch from showing what that costs him, every sword swing still carrying the exhaustion of a man who trained to avenge his mother and now has to save a city. This is donghua that understands vengeance isn't catharsis, it's the long, crushing work of staying alive when everything tells you to break.

Set within the Cang Yuan Tu franchise, this three-episode action fantasy ONA corresponds to episodes 67 to 69 of the main series. Its premise centers on a moment of calamity and poses a single question: how the phoenix can be truly awakened when disaster arrives.
