Music vanishes from the world, and Carol chases it into a realm that feels like a fever dream filtered through 1980s neon and watercolor. The OVA moves too slow for plot, too strange for comfort, but exactly right for the moment when you realize you're watching something that exists outside the usual rules. Carol is a teenage girl in London whose ordinary life takes a strange turn when she notices music disappearing all around her. The chimes of Big Ben, the sound of her father's cello and a concert by her favorite band, Gaball Screen, all fall silent. After hearing mysterious voices, she is carried off to a fantastic world, where she must battle the evil monsters who are stealing Earth's music. Along the way she is helped by three dashing heroes named Clark, Tico and Flash. The single-episode adventure fantasy is adapted from a novel by Naoto Kine of TM Network, and the band also provides the soundtrack.
