The series builds to a finale where everyone you've watched matters. Two skyscrapers in Tokyo, the Nishitamashi Twin Towers, are nearly ready for their grand opening. Conan, the Detective Boys and Professor Agasa stop by and meet Ran, her friend Sonoko and her father Kogoro, who are attending the event, so everyone joins a private tour of the floors. As the ceremony draws near, three people tied to the towers are murdered, and the killings seem to point to a Porsche 356A. Conan begins to suspect that the mysterious Syndicate has a hand in them. Then an explosion tears through the towers, fire spreads, and when the elevator fails, Conan and his companions are stranded inside and must stay alive long enough to catch whoever is responsible.
