A cat in a city of cats who refuses to follow any rule, breaking things just to see what happens. The Flash animation looks like nothing else on screen right now, mixing photographs and vectors into something genuinely strange. No voice acting means you're reading every joke at your own speed, which makes the absurdity land different. It's seven episodes of pure chaos with no plot to justify itself, just a creature doing exactly what he wants while everyone else has to deal with it.

In a city whose residents are all anthropomorphic cat-people, Catman does whatever he pleases, bound by no rules or limits. His carefree behavior regularly runs into the other citizens, and he has to cope with some of the city's rougher sides. Nobody in this seven-episode comedy ONA speaks: the story plays out through Japanese and English subtitles and a lively original soundtrack. Animated in Flash, it was Aoike Ryousuke's debut in the medium and won the 2003 GRAFIKA prize for Best Digital Animation.
