Nobody's making a five-episode comedy ONA out of manga omake chapters. That's what happens when a series loves its own characters more than it loves being serious. Denji trying to cook, Power being exactly as much of a disaster as always, the cast just existing in moments that don't need to save the world, this is what the Chainsaw Man manga earned: the space to breathe and be funny without explaining why. It's filler that matters more than plot.

Chainsaw Days is a set of five comedic slice-of-life shorts shown together with the Chainsaw Man compilation films. Each one adapts a bonus chapter from the end of the manga.
