Jam is an apprentice wizard, and Opp is a goblin with a cynical outlook. This short fantasy film traces how Jam grows up through the time he spends with Opp. It adapts a picture book by Yoshiji Kigami that carries the same title, bringing the story of the young wizard and his sour goblin companion to the screen as a brief animated work.
