A demon shows up to end the world, gets adopted by three sisters who treat him like a problem to be managed, and suddenly his apocalypse plan doesn't matter anymore. The show understands that comfort is funnier than chaos, that a family that feeds you and ignores your complaining is its own kind of magic. Chimimo's big plans dissolve one couch day at a time, and watching him realize he doesn't actually want to leave is the whole point.

Chimimo is an ordinary demon from hell who, with a band of round little minions, dreams of turning the human world into hell. A portal instead drops him into the home of the Onigami family, where three calm, unshakable sisters, Mutsumi, Hazuki and Mei, run the household firmly. Chimimo ends up living with them as a freeloader, and his plans for the apocalypse stall until he can find the motivation to get off the couch. Along with a furry, horned envoy the sisters call Jigoku-san, he has to survive the ordinary hassles of everyday human life first. The result is a supernatural slice-of-life comedy built around a would-be world conqueror stuck in a very normal home.
