A woman runs a megacorporation that basically owns America, and the show's idea of a problem is an airplane through her bedroom. Cleopatra DC treats corporate espionage and cyborg conspiracies like a cartoon where the real joke is that none of it matters compared to the absurdity of having that much money. It's 1989 OVA energy: anarchic, visually loose, entirely unconcerned with whether you're following the plot or just watching something weird happen frame by frame.

Ms. Cleo is the young chairman of the Cleopatra Corns Group, a financial conglomerate that holds most of the American economy and rivals the US government in influence. She is smart, brave and rich enough to cover almost any expense, including the damage when an airplane crashes into her bedroom. Things only get worse from there, as stolen artifacts, corporate kidnappings and a top-secret cyborg project gone wrong pile onto her troubles. The three-episode OVA mixes science fiction, action and adventure with comedy.
