The Knightmare fight choreography is the best the franchise has ever done, and Ash and Rozé's dynamic carries weight that the rushed 12-episode format desperately wants to earn. The show moves so fast it burns through plot twists before you can feel their impact, but the animation during every battle makes you forget you're waiting for the story to catch up. If you're here for visceral mecha combat and sibling chemistry over narrative completeness, this hits.

In the Hokkaido Block, now held by the Neo-Britannian Empire, two Britannian brothers work as the Nameless Mercenaries and have earned a reputation for shielding the Japanese and killing imperial officials. Ash, the elder, is a gifted athlete and a skilled Knightmare Frame pilot, while the younger Rozé keeps a cool head, gathers intelligence and plans their strategy. When the struggling Seven Shining Stars resistance calls on them, the pair join the fight against the Empire to recover Princess Sakuya. Standing in their way is Emperor Callis al Britannia, who relies on the Situmpe Wall, his servant Norland and his Einberg Knights in his bid to throw the world back into chaos.
