Kazuki's normal life takes a sharp turn when his friend Taishi, a devoted otaku, drags him into the world of fan comics. Thrown with no warning into the middle of an enormous comic convention, the bewildered Kazuki has to sink or swim among crowds of buyers, sellers and cosplayers. Taishi is convinced that Kazuki's true calling is to conquer the world through fan comics, and he pushes him along at every step. Meanwhile Kazuki's childhood friend Mizuki is determined to fight for his ordinary life, even as the pull of this new world grows stronger. The show is a comedy with a streak of drama.
