SYNOPSIS
Nine ordinary people vanish from their lives and wake up as something else entirely: cyborgs engineered by the shadowy military organization known as Black Ghost. Each one has been stripped of their humanity and rebuilt as a weapon, given superhuman abilities they never asked for. The youngest among them, a boy now designated 009, possesses the most dangerous power of all: the ability to accelerate his body beyond normal limits, making him faster than thought itself. When 009 and his fellow cyborgs discover the horrifying truth about their creators, they're forced to choose between accepting their new existence as obedient soldiers or fighting back against the very hands that remade them. Black Ghost won't let them go easily. The organization's elite robot forces pursue the escaped cyborgs across the globe in a relentless campaign to reclaim their escaped property or destroy them trying. Caught between their human memories and their mechanical bodies, these nine become unlikely allies in a desperate race for freedom. This is where their real battle begins.
