In 2055, four years after Danball Senki W, LBXs are the biggest hobby on the planet, with professional leagues and players who earn a full living from the game. Fourteen-year-old Arata transfers to Kamui Daimon Integrated Academy on Kamui Island, near Japan, the world's most prestigious school for training LBX players and mechanics. Admission demands championship wins in no fewer than three official tournaments. Together with the rest of his platoon, Arata takes on rival competitors and starts digging into secrets hidden inside the academy. The result is a mecha action series built around school competition and the mysteries of its setting.
