In 2055, miniature mecha called LBXs have evolved from niche hobby to global phenomenon, complete with professional leagues and sponsorships. Fourteen-year-old Arata enters Kamui Daimon Academy, an elite island institution that produces the world's top LBX pilots and engineers. Getting here already required winning three official tournaments, but Arata quickly discovers that the academy's reputation masks something far more complicated than a typical school. Alongside his platoon mates, Arata balances intense competitive matches against other students while uncovering strange occurrences within the academy's walls. The line between training grounds and conspiracy blurs as they push their piloting skills to the limit. Every match matters, every opponent has secrets, and the academy itself seems to be hiding truths that could reshape everything they know about LBX combat and the world around them.
