Five rich girls ditch their police detail because sitting still sounds worse than whatever's actually threatening them. Shinbo's early directorial fingerprints are all over the framing and color work, even if the animation itself looks like it was rushed out on a napkin. The whole thing runs twenty minutes, moves like it's got somewhere to be, and never pretends to be anything heavier than Charlie's Angels with slightly sharper camera angles.
SYNOPSIS
Five wealthy girls,Miyuki, Reika, Youko, Nina, and Kimiko,receive a sinister video warning that someone wants them dead. Police protection arrives at their school immediately, but the constant surveillance drives Kimiko crazy. She convinces her friends to stage an elaborate trick that sends the guards packing, and for about five minutes, they think they've won their freedom back. Then three armed terrorists show up. What follows is pure chaos. These girls have money, attitude, and absolutely no formal combat training, yet they're determined to survive the assault anyway. Their attempts to fight back veer wildly between genuine danger and slapstick comedy as they improvise weapons, create distractions, and generally refuse to be easy targets. The action is frenetic and played for laughs as much as thrills, mixing goofy slapstick moments with actual stakes. If you want something that doesn't take itself seriously, features scrappy characters who punch way above their weight class through sheer determination and luck, and balances action sequences with genuine comedy, this single OVA delivers a quick, fun ride.
