Four girls descended from famous detectives, each gifted with supernatural powers called Toys, make up the detective team Milky Holmes. In this alternative world they never lose their Toys and never sink into being hopeless students. Instead they are on track to become successful detectives, solving mysteries under the guidance of Kobayashi Opera. The two-episode comedy mystery special springs from a card and video game franchise by Bushiroad, and its episodes premiered at special events before airing on television in 2012.
