Kei and Yuri walk into a planet's bureaucracy like it personally insulted them, and the show treats every obstacle as permission to escalate further. The OVA never pretends the Dirty Pair are heroes, they're mercenaries who solve problems by making bigger ones, and the collateral damage reads as comedy because they genuinely don't care. Watching two women turn red tape into chaos while actually finding the missing girl is the entire point.

Kei and Yuri, the Dirty Pair, take a case on Ookbar, a mining colony planet, where a telepathic girl named Missinie has gone missing. Samara, the planet's uncooperative security chief, has them arrested and sent off-world before their investigation can get underway. Refusing to let bureaucracy stop them, the two pursue their one lead: Missinie was likely taken to Nolandia, a rain forest and the only other livable place on Ookbar. Someone has tampered with their ship, though, and they are forced to crash in the strange jungle, where their troubles are only starting. This single OVA episode mixes science fiction adventure and action with comedy.
