Three months after going home, Cinque is summoned back to the fantasy land of Flonyard to take up his role as hero of the Biscotti Republic once more. This time he brings company: his childhood best friend Rebecca Anderson and his cousin Nanami Takatsuki. Both become heroes themselves. Rebecca serves the Principality of Pastillage at the request of Princess Couvert, and Nanami serves the Galette Lion Dominion. As before, Flonyard holds plenty of secrets and mysteries to uncover, which may leave the three energetic, sporty teenagers little time for the athletic events they love.
