Cinque, Nanami, and Rebecca slip back into Flonyard like coming home to people who actually missed you. The show knows it doesn't need to prove anything anymore, no stakes, no character arcs, just three friends in a world too colorful to take seriously doing exactly what they came to do. You're not here for the plot. You're here because these characters feel like your friends now, and watching them exist in a place that loves them is enough.

Three heroes return to Flonyard, a fantasy continent where the allied nations of Biscotti, Galette and Pastillage hold friendly war games. Cinque fights for Biscotti, his cousin Nanami champions Galette, and Rebecca, a close friend of Cinque, represents Pastillage. Rebecca sets out from Japan, while Cinque and Nanami leave England for their own nations. A sudden bolt of lightning knocks Cinque and Nanami off course and lands them in the great Dragon Forest. There they meet Sharu, the Dragon Priestess who guards it, and she tells them that demons have been attacking dragons and other creatures and now threaten the forest and all of Flonyard. Sharu objects, but the heroes resolve to help her face this real danger, well beyond the usual games.
