A pink circle in a grey world learns that being different doesn't mean being special, it means being alone until you stop needing permission to belong. The film does this with nothing but simple shapes and color, which somehow hits harder than it has any right to. Grey isn't boring here. It's the color of everyone else, and that's the whole point.

A circle with a faint pink tint moves among many grey circles, and she believes that slight difference makes her special. Yet in a world full of color, she turns out to be quite grey herself. Over the course of the short film she comes to see that grey is far from a dull color. The film is an abstract animation that uses simple circles as characters and tries to express feeling through shape alone.
