A giant monster shows up to wreck Penguin Village and gets immediately schooled by a robot girl who treats destruction like a Tuesday chore. The joke lands because Arale doesn't know she's overpowered, she just solves problems the way a kid does: direct, cheerful, unstoppable. This is Dr. Slump at its purest, where the gag is the whole story, and you're laughing because a pint-sized android keeps breaking the scale of what should be threatening.

A dinosaur-like monster named Dodongadon turns up in Penguin Village. He is no bigger than Arale and not very strong, so she beats him with ease. Dodongadon then calls for his mother, Mamangadon, who is enormous and far more powerful. Arale now has to work out how to beat a much bigger opponent in this comedy film.
