This is a 90s fantasy OVA that knows exactly what it is and executes the formula without apology. The swordsman-and-amnesiac-girl dynamic could be generic, but the Dragoon summon sequences hit with the weight of something you'd find in an actual JRPG, complete with that specific era's animation craft that modern shows can't replicate. If you grew up on Panzer Dragoon and Legend of the Dragoon and have spent years looking for something that scratches that same itch, this three-episode artifact is built for you.

In the vast Garubado Empire, a deadly weapon is being built, but it is stolen and then lost during a battle. The weapon turns out to be a girl able to call up the power known as Dragoon, and the Empire now wants her back. She has lost her memory. A wandering swordsman still in training finds her and swears to help her learn who she is and where her strange power comes from. The story runs as a three-episode fantasy adventure OVA.
