Nobody talks about this one. An 11-year-old kid in a police academy, dead set on cleaning up Edo with three friends who somehow make it work, the show treats his ambition as real, not cute. It swings between genuine stakes and absurd comedy without apologizing for either, the kind of tonal whiplash that only works when you actually believe the kid cares. By the time you're three episodes in, you're rooting for a fourth-grader to arrest criminals because the show convinced you he deserves to try.

Tasuke is an eleven-year-old student at a police academy who hopes to become the academy's manager and arrest every criminal in the city of Edo. He wants the criminals gone so the world becomes a better place to live. He teams up with three friends, among them Omon, and together they set out on an adventure that is mostly comic but turns serious at times. The show is a sports comedy.
