A voice in your head that nobody else can hear turns out to be the least weird thing about your life. Chuuta gets pulled into a space police force that actually feels like a place where people work, where your first mission matters as much as your last, where every recruit has a reason for being there that isn't just "chosen one destiny." The show spends its time on why these people care about each other instead of rushing to the next power-up, which means when things actually break, you feel the weight of it.

Chuuta Kokonose is an orphan raised by his aunt, and for as long as he can recall, a voice has spoken inside his head. Apart from that he is an ordinary boy, until a peculiar creature trails him home and teleports him to a space police station crowded with other strange beings. There Rein Brickke, head of the Solar System Department, explains that the station's computer has picked Chuuta as a possible recruit for the force. Chuuta is stunned at first. Misuzu Sonokata, a girl from his school with a sweet face and a sharp temper, turns out to be one of Brickke's officers, and she doubts he is fit for the work. Encouraged by the voice in his head and determined to show Misuzu she is wrong, Chuuta agrees to sit the aptitude test. The result is a sci-fi action series built around an unlikely recruit and the cosmic police force he hopes to join.
