After a coup shakes the imperial capital, Duwei is made Duke of Tulip. To spare Raymond's life, he accepts Desa, the least developed province in the northwest, as his domain. From there he relies on his cleverness, planning and gift for magic to grow his lands. He raises an army of mages, outwits dragons and puts down the people of the grasslands and rebels in the northwest. This second season of the action fantasy continues the story of a man reborn from Earth who was once dismissed as a weak heir, and who now aims to leave his mark on a turbulent land.
