Mythological beasts living in cramped apartments, working terrible jobs, pretending they're still relevant. The comedy hits because these creatures of legend are genuinely broke, genuinely forgotten, and genuinely stuck sharing a life with other washed-up immortals who remember when people actually feared them. Season 3 keeps doing what the franchise does best: finding the absurd dignity in has-beens who refuse to go away.

Fabulous Beasts returns for a third season of fantasy comedy in twelve ONA episodes. The franchise is set in an age when scientific progress has left the old mythological animals far less grand than they once were. Sibuxiang was sent down to the mortal world to help fellow mythical creatures in trouble, and there he ran into his former colleague Pixiu, his drinking companion Tuye and the gold and silver Jue brothers, who had been demoted to earth. The show pairs slice of life stories with the comedy of legendary beasts living among humans.
