SYNOPSIS
Humanity's long war against the Festum continues into a fragile new era. Years have passed since the scattered fragments of the original Mir achieved something unprecedented: some chose peace over destruction, opening a window for coexistence between silicon-based lifeforms and mankind. That window is closing. The appearance of independent Mirs across the globe has destabilized the fragile truce, forcing old enemies and new allies to question where their loyalties truly lie. Pilot Kazuki and his comrades find themselves caught between those fighting for survival and those willing to sacrifice everything for a lasting ceasefire. As distrust spreads and the line between human and Festum blurs further, the pilots of Fafner face their most difficult mission yet: not simply to fight, but to choose what kind of future is worth fighting for. Part 3 pushes the conflict toward its culmination, where military strategy becomes secondary to the impossible choice between extinction and transformation.
