Touka doesn't grow into a hero. He grows into a tool for vengeance, and the show treats that cold clarity as his strength, not his tragic flaw. The low-rank magic isn't a gimmick to overcome; it's the actual foundation of everything he builds, forcing him to think three moves ahead while every other isekai protagonist swings their way through problems. Animation tanks hard during wide shots and the 3D is rough enough to notice, but none of that matters once you realize the story knows exactly what it's doing with a protagonist who was discarded first and decides to burn the system that threw him away.
