Anime Like Fairy gone
You watch this show for the core concept alone: humans with harvested fairy organs turning into living weapons, now abandoned by the state they bled for. SYNOPSIS
Maria enters a world still fractured by conflict. Nine years have passed since the war ended, but peace remains fragile. Fairies inhabit animals, and through surgical extraction, humans can graft these creatures' organs into their own bodies to access otherworldly power. During the war, these augmented soldiers became weapons. Now that fighting has ceased, they scatter across society: some seek redemption, others turn to crime, a few become threats the government can no longer control. Maria joins Dorothea, an investigative unit tasked with hunting fairy-related crimes and stopping dangerous incidents before they destabilize the tentative peace. As she pursues cases, she uncovers how deeply the war's legacy runs. Former soldiers aren't just struggling with civilian life. Criminal organizations, government factions, and extremists all weaponize fairies for their own agendas. Maria must navigate a world where the line between justice and corruption blurs, where everyone carries scars from what came before, and where one wrong move could reignite the very conflict everyone wants to forget.
