A kid runs from magic school only to come home to ashes. His father is dead, his killer is hunting him, and he's got no choice but to get stronger the hard way. Gulliver doesn't brood about it, he moves forward with a rotating crew of misfits who each have their own reasons to fight Judau. The show earns its 50 episodes by making you care less about "will he win" and more about whether any of them survive long enough to get there. Gulliver is a boy born with magical ability who is made to attend a school for magicians against his will, so that he can hone his powers to protect his city. He escapes, only to find that the army of the evil Judau has destroyed his hometown. Judau kills Gulliver's father with his own hands and swears to kill Gulliver too. Gulliver and his friend Eddison rescue Misty, a girl on the run from Judau. Joined by a fairy named Phoebe and Gecko, a lone wolf ninja, and traveling aboard an ancient ship, they set out to defeat Judau and uncover the secrets of Atlantis in this fantasy adventure with action and mecha elements.
