Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: FINALE is a TV sequel that continues the Prisma☆Illya franchise, picking up after the film Licht: Nameless Girl. That earlier story set Illya against the Ainsworth family, who meant to use the Holy Grail to save a dying world at the cost of the magical girl Miyu. The new series blends action and fantasy in the magical girl tradition.
