Iko is a third grader who lives with his four older brothers in an old house in Tateyama, a town by the sea. The boys have no parents at home, and the older brothers say their mother works in Tokyo. Iko is a little eccentric but adores his brothers, who look after him well. They keep a secret from the world: they are wizards who live almost forever. Over one summer vacation, the family enjoys its days together while getting pulled into the world of wizards. This short-form drama is the anime half of a mixed-media project. The anime takes place in the present day, while a companion musical is set in the Middle Ages.
