A girl trapped inside her own isolation finds a fox spirit in the margins of her life. The transformation isn't magical, it's the slow, brutal recognition that freedom means leaving everything familiar behind. This movie costs you something to watch, and it doesn't soften the bill.

Shinano works as a character designer, stuck in a dull daily rhythm while her output gets swallowed by the demands of commerce. Online she finds no place where she fits, and her isolation only grows. Then Koyami, a character in a fox mask from sketches she made long ago, suddenly shows up, and more of the creations she once threw away come after. As the line between what is real and what is imagined starts to fade, Shinano wanders through her own inner world and begins to see these figures as pieces of herself and of her loneliness. A fantasy film about creativity and isolation.
