Fuku-chan, the character from a popular newspaper comic strip, attacks a hideout of thieves who have been menacing the local town. The film is a wartime propaganda piece that loosely reworks the attack on Pearl Harbor into an action story. The movie opens a trilogy of Fuku-chan films that recast the comic strip character for propaganda use.
