Tessa wakes up in her command chair with no memory of last night, and the entire OVA is just her piecing together what happened by pestering everyone on the Danaan. It's a perfect day-in-the-life that loves its cast enough to let them breathe outside the mecha war stuff. The comedy lands because you already know these people; watching Tessa's confusion bounce off their deadpan responses feels like visiting old friends who are very tired of her nonsense.

Tessa, the fleet captain, wakes up in her commander's chair on her day off. Once she pulls herself together, she finds that her favorite stuffed animal is gone, and she sets out to work out what took place the previous night. Her search has her spending time with each of the main members of the Danaan crew until the memories of that night finally return. This single-episode OVA is a comedy side story built around Tessa and the familiar faces aboard the Danaan.
