SYNOPSIS
Edward Elric wakes up in 1920s Munich with no memory of how he arrived and no access to the alchemy that once defined him. Two years of dead ends follow until he encounters a desperate gypsy girl fleeing from mysterious pursuers. That single act of compassion yanks him into a conspiracy spanning two realities: the world he lost and the one he's trapped in. Back home in Amestris, his brother Alphonse searches for answers in forbidden alchemy, determined to breach the gap between worlds and bring Edward back. As both brothers inch closer to the truth, they discover their separation might be just the beginning of something far more dangerous. Portals between dimensions. Occult forces gathering strength. The potential for catastrophe in either world if the barrier holding them apart shatters. Edward must figure out what connects the threads binding two separate existences together, but every answer pulls him deeper into a web where his own choices have already shaped the outcome.
