Nobody expects the Shaman King spinoff to be the thing that actually heals you. Ten minutes scattered across YouTube, no plot urgency, just characters sitting in an onsen talking about nothing that matters and somehow everything that does. You watch Yoh exist quietly in warm water and realize you needed permission to stop fighting for a while.

Funbari Onsen Hanjouki is a set of ten short animated clips starring characters from the 2021 Shaman King anime. They were released online through the official KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE YouTube channel. The shorts are light comedy and slice-of-life pieces, giving fans of the main series a bite-sized look at its cast outside the main story.
