A girl who loves tanks more than breathing walks you through Italian tank history like she's showing you her diary. Yukari's enthusiasm makes technical specs feel like gossip about her favorite people. It's the kind of bonus content that makes you understand why the main series works at all, she makes you care about the machines before the show ever asks you to.

Yukari Akiyama steps in as host for this brief Girls und Panzer special, walking viewers through the history behind the Italian tanks seen in the series. This entry is the Anzio edition of her tank lessons. The one-episode extra was included with the home video release, on both Blu-ray and DVD, of Girls & Panzer: Kore ga Hontou no Anzio-sen desu!
