A transfer student walks into an all-boys school and every single character is aggressively, incomprehensibly handsome in wildly different ways. The show knows exactly what it's doing with this joke and never breaks character about how seriously these men take their looks, their rivalries, their tragic backstories. It's a parody of shoujo romance that works because it commits completely to the bit without winking at the camera.
Maeda Yoshiki, a seventeen-year-old, transfers into Baramon High School, a private boys' academy for the top students of the prefecture. There he meets some of the most prominent figures on campus: an outlaw teacher, the captain of the soccer team, and a childhood friend he has not seen in seven years. Friendship, love and conflict all await him, and his life is about to change. This single-episode OVA pairs comedy with a school romance.
