Gall Force finally lets its characters breathe outside the shadow of apocalypse. The OVA steals from Star Wars and NGE without apology, splashing them across a universe where robot guts dangle from clone vats and the Solonoids actually survive what they're fighting for. After decades of downer endings, this one earns its hope by refusing to pretend the war is won.

The Solonoids, a race of female warriors, are split into rival factions and at war with each other once again. East Force and West Force meet in a massive space battle, and it begins to look as though the leaders of both sides have left their own fighters exposed. Amid the chaos, East Force picks up a transmission from an unknown planetoid. Facing destruction from the West Force's Planet Destroyer, the Gall Force crew breaks away from their assigned formation to investigate it. Lufy, the West Force's ace pilot, has been sent after Rabby and trails them to the mysterious world. The four-episode OVA mixes science fiction adventure with mecha action.
