You're watching a love triangle collapse into a war nobody understands. Sheryl arrives as the galaxy's biggest pop star and immediately becomes the person everyone blames for things she didn't do, while Ranka and Alto chase their dreams in a fleet that's already decided who the enemy is. The real conspiracy isn't about spies or the Vajra. It's that people believe what they're told to believe, and Frontier is built on lies that only the music can cut through.

Sheryl Nome comes to the Frontier colonial fleet to give a concert, and her arrival sets off conspiracies inside the Frontier government, which soon brands her a spy for Galaxy. Meanwhile, childhood friends Alto Saotome and Ranka Lee each work toward their own dreams while the battle between Frontier and the Vajra draws nearer. The film blends a retelling of the original Frontier series with new story material, mixing mecha action, music and romance. It is the first of two parts, and the retelling concludes in The Wings of Goodbye.
