SYNOPSIS
Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato have already survived two rounds of Gantz's deadly games. They know the rules now: die in the real world, get pulled into a black sphere, fight incomprehensible aliens, and maybe earn resurrection. Failure means obliteration. Success means another chance at life, only to wait for the next summons. The difference between the first season and this one cuts deeper. Kei's apartment has become a safehouse of sorts, with fellow veteran Kishimoto crashing there between rounds. The missions grow more violent and chaotic. Alien encounters become increasingly brutal, and the psychological toll of repeated death and resurrection wears on everyone involved. Kei struggles with his own nature: obsessive, cowardly, yet somehow still fighting. Masaru questions whether surviving Gantz has changed who he is in the real world, or just hardened him. What drives Gantz remains a mystery, but the sphere's appetite for resurrection never slows. More players arrive. More blood spills. More questions go unanswered.
