Two guys get yoinked into a fantasy world and one of them immediately resents being there. The comedy lives in that friction: Light trying to be the hero while Yomi treats the entire apocalyptic quest like an inconvenient errand he has to run before dinner. It's what happens when you drop someone who fundamentally does not care into a story that demands he care.

Light and Yomi are two friends who spend all their free time happily playing video games. One night, Light gets an invitation from Alpha, a messenger for someone called King, and the pair are pulled through a portal into a fantasy world modeled on an RPG. Their task is to rescue Princess Melody from the evil Maoh. Light believes this quest must be his destiny, while Yomi finds the whole heroic business a real nuisance. They team up with Alpha, who turns out to be an AI robot with a program that lets them raise their levels as they slowly carry on with their adventure. The result is a short-format comedy fantasy that plays video game conventions for laughs.
