Based on CyberStep's fantasy MMORPG drawn from Japanese folklore, Onigiri is set in an ancient Japan full of creatures from legend. Long ago the sun goddess Amaterasu sealed away the destructive beasts known as the Kamikui, but that seal has now broken and they roam free again, spreading a dark miasma across the land. Standing against them is Jin, an Oni, along with eight beautiful female warriors, each with her own personality, skills and abilities. As the group fights off the demonic invasion, they grow stronger and their bonds deepen. The short-format series mixes adventure and fantasy action with comedy.
