A commander walks into a unit of androids built to kill and discovers they're already people, already grieving, already afraid. The show doesn't waste time debating whether machines can have souls, it just shows you them breaking under the weight of it. After nuclear devastation hollows out the world, androids called Dolls keep humanity breathing. Some serve as combat units known as Tactical Dolls, or T-Dolls, which are physically stronger than human soldiers but depend on a human commander for strategy. When the rogue AI behind the manufacturer Sangvis Ferri seizes its factories and turns on mankind, the paramilitary group Griffin & Kryuger stands in its way. An elite squad of T-Dolls called Team Anti-Rain is ambushed while hunting for classified data and scatters into hiding. A newly hired commander must track them down and secure that information before Sangvis Ferri gets to it. The result is an action drama set in a shattered, war-torn future.
